Group ride (no-drop) Social ride to the 26th Annual Rhubarb Fest at Long Lake Regional Park.
When: Sunday, June 7, 2026. Meet at 12:00 PM, depart at 12:15 PM.
Start and Finish: Behind Bars Bicycle Shop, 208 13th Ave NE, Minneapolis, MN 55413 (destination: Long Lake Regional Park, New Brighton, MN)
Distance: 11 miles one way, 22 miles round trip. Pace: average 12 mph.
Join @behindbarsbicycleshop ambassador Andy for a social ride to the festival picnic where Keys Restaurant Rhubarb Dessert Sampler plates will be available to purchase for $7 (includes rhubarb crisp, pie bar, ice cream, rhubarb sauce and coffee). The ride will take us North along the Mississippi then East on the tranquil Rice Creek trails. There will be a moderate number of climbs to reach Long Lake Park. This is a No Drop ride meaning we will stay together. Estimate the full ride outing to be about 3 hours. Bring a good supply of water. Ride will be weather permitting — if it rains we will cancel.
